Default Traction/Stability Control Issue

I have this strange issue with either the traction or stability control with my 2007 C6 Z06 . When I turn in a tight radius it seems like the break controllers fire off causing abrupt shunting of the car. This is when at 5 degrees of or at full lock turn. I thought this could be the diff and had the fluid changed with no difference. The problem was somewhat present with my old set of tires which were OEM tires (Goodyear F1 - 275/35 18, 325/30 19). Then seemed to get a little worse with new set of tires (Michelin PSS - 285/35 18, 345/30 19) and now really bad with new wheels and tires (Michelin PSC2 - 285/30 19, 335/25 20). I thought this might be because of the % difference in tire size but they are all very close percentage wise; 5.2%, 5.8% and 4.1% respectively. So this could not be the issue. It feels and sounds like the breaks are firing off seemingly randomly causing the abruptness? Has anyone here experienced this with their C6?

Well, I did a bit more research. Found articles and GM service notes on the Ackermann effect which increases with wider and stickier tires. This may make sense because each new tire has had increased width and got progressively stickier. I failed to mention that it also happens with the traction control is off. What concerns me is that it's very intense with the Cup 2's. I'd still like your opinions.

I would check your wheel bearings for looseness first. Then use a scan tool in graph mode to monitor the wheel speed sensors. You should be able to see which one is causing this issue. The output should look smooth with no spikes. The wide tire theory and Akerman is probably not causing this issue. Im running 315/345 combination with no issues.

I have the 19/20 combo on my car as well with Micheling PSS ZP and notice this as well. It's particularly noticeable when pulling out of the parking spot at home because I have to go uphill while turning the wheels almost to full lock. Feels like the front end of the car is hopping along.

I think there is a lot of rake and at full turn the contact patch is reduced and you get a feeling that the outside tire is almost sliding or skipping at less than 5mph, happens to me on drive way exit as well.

After reading these responses I think most of you are feeling is a scrub radius issue and not a abs/traction control issue.
