I have a 2013 2LT GS w/o telescoping steering wheel but would like to add it.

Is this a plug and play process or bad idea?

I had test driven 3 cars, all with low miles , that had that option and none of their telescoping columns worked. I bought one of them. the steering wheel position is fine for me , so it's not a priority for me to fix.
I don't know if that's a coincidence , or they are problematic.

Nope not plug and play at all , I was able to come up with a simple reversing relay circuit that worked with the factory switch ......
