Meh...stay away from the LS9X/R clutches for the C6Z. Go Monster LT1-S... https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ter-lt1-s.html

Monster LT1-S with a new slave and their billet sleeve. Also, a Katech speed bleeder.

Another vote for Centerforce here. I like replacing single plates with beefier single plates. There seems to be a trend of mutli-plate clutches causing issues.

I'm a big fan of the DFX. Held 4 digit power in my cobra and felt great in my last Z. And it's cheaper than most other "fancy" clutches.

Quick question for you Monster guys. Are y'all having any chatter or rattling from the Monster LT1-S clutch? When in neutral, idling or while driving? Thanks in advance

My Mantic Twin has been great. Very little chatter and holds my 800+ whp without any issues.

That is my hesitation on the monster LT 1. On there website they rate the clutch as a 4 having noise in neutral. I have also seen posts from people complaining about the noise also. Noise would be a no go for me. The most power I would increase would be 50-75 hp using a cam. Clutch is mainly for street. But I still want to have my fun!!

The LT1-S is an OEM clutch with an adapter flywheel to the LS crank. It's as quiet as a OEM should be. That being said, I bought mine used and have put it through some serious abuse for the last year. It chattered at first but it's quiet now.
