Default rear quater panel removal

My passenger rear quarter panel is bowed in behind the wheel. It was from the previous owner bumping into his garage when backing out. Scuff marks are VERY minimal and don't bother me much (for now) but I always notice how it is pushed in . I removed the tail lights and see that there are support brackets behind it and the one on that side is bent. It appears that if I can straighten that bracket, it should take care of the issue. My question is, how involved is removing the rear quarter panel? is it pretty quick and simple, or is it a real PITA and would it be hard to align it upon installation?

It's pretty simple and easy to remove the quarters. Here is a guide for widebody which details how to remove and install the quarters.

Take the fender liner out and you can access the lower bracket bolts, upper’s through the light. It’s aggrivatig But not a difficult job.

Beware of the 2016-2018 Stingrays as they have a noise in the rear of the car at 1500 rpm's. It took me many attempts at a dealer and had to call GM directly to get it fixed.

Overall I love the looks and performance and am finally happy with it
