I bought my first corvette (2013 grand sport) this summer and am storing it for the winter for the first time. I found a corvette branded battery charger in the trunk compartment that came with the car which I think is a CTEK 3300? anyway my garage outlet isnt close enough to the car so I'll need to use an extension cord. The instructions say to use a 18 AWG rated cord but i didn't seem to see anything that said 18 awg at my local hardware store unless I was looking at the wrong thing which is entirely possible. I've never owned a car before that was stored during the winter so I dont want to screw it up thanks
any decent extention cord will work fine. I added an outlet next to my car so I can plug right in. Might be something to consider, its rather easy to do.
