Default "C6 from 2005-2010 navigation radio clock stops after battery disconnect

Well, I opened the nav door and it would not retract and all the buttons on the radio stopped working.
I made it home and unplugged the battery for 10 minutes, reconnected the battery, and everything started working again as it should.
I had the GPS with the slash through it, so I took the car for a short drive and the Slash and GPS logo went away and the car started tracking to the correct streets.
So all is well except now I have no clock. It does not allow me to adjust it. Everything is blank in the adjustment screen and pushing any buttons does not help.

GPS antenna problem ? I don't know....

Yes, Help I installed a PAL 2 adapter in my 2005 coupe with factory nav and it did the same thing today. Everything works but the clock and it won't let me set it. Anybody know why? Could it be I need a firmware update?

i am not sure if it needs a longer than a ten minute drive for the GPS to set the time....

Took my car to the dealer yesterday to have recall stuff done.
I am now experiencing this same issue.

GPS has a slash (even though I've driven close to 100 miles) and no clock.

I have a 2005.

Have you asked the dealer about this? Maybe we both need firmware updates? Can anybody help? Keep us in the loop! Thanks for any help!

I called the dealer and they connected me to the shop foreman. Apparently, he's never heard of this problem. So not much help there.🙄

It was old stuff for the headlights, roof panel, and the 2005 column lock. Nothing related to the radio.

I am wondering if someone who has recently disconnected the battery and did not lose the clock would chime in. Is it possible that the problem lies on what GPS satellite or signal the radios are programmed to look for? And it may have recently been deleted?

I called Folsom Chevy and the Service Manage Joe talked to the stereo guy and they said to disconnect
the battery for 5 minutes and reconnect to do a Master Reset. Didn't help and I didn't lose my programming of stations
so Im stumped. Everything else works. I still wonder if my antenna is weak maybe. I was tugging connectors to get the radio out.

The same happened to my nav clock after disconnecting and charging the battery. After reconnecting the clock was gone and adjusting is not possible. Even with no GPS signal it should be possible to adjust the clock, but GPS works fine.
Please let me know if someone here got that fixed.

There is another thread on this in some other forum section.
I am just "shooting the breeze" here.

There is no mention of being able to access the clock set up menu.
Just perhaps, on that menu press the screen to switch from 12 hour to 24 hour display.
Make sure the region (east, cent, west) is correct on your Nav set up menu.

Maybe even switch the screen colors to try to "wake up" the system.

If any of these works, let us know, the community will thank you.

It's all blank and GPS button in the clock section is grayed out. No access to any of these functions.
