Default Dragy first time use!

Got a dragy for Christmas and my Z didn’t make the trip but I was able to try it out in my buddies stock C7z(we almost got to try it in his grandfathers C7 ZR1) but we missed him unfortunately. Anyway it seems very promising and super easy to use, my buddy was disappointed to say the least with his 60-130 time, pretty sure he has amazon sending him one already and he dropped me off about 10 min ago lol. Anyone else have any experience with these? Thoughts? Accuracy? Or any other insight using them? 🇺🇸

I've heard great things about this item, and at 10 Hz sampling rate, matches my VBox Sport in that respect.
I'm going to get one too, once the car is back together, and compare them for accuracy...but I suspect they will be comparable.

I’ve been reading on comparisons with the dragy to VBOX and there’s also good data comparing both units at the drag strip and the dragy seems to be spot on accuracy wise, I’ll have more data when I get home and use it in my vette. So far it’s an awesome product for $140!

Mine just got here the other day. Unfortunately the vette is down temporarily, but I'm going to hook it up in my truck and see how it does lol

I've heard good things about them. Fran at RPM has one and said it was nice. And another friend of mine with an UGR Lambo has one and said it works great!

Yeah I’m very pleased even with the limited use so far, damn weather lol. I will say that watching the video it records it looks like the MPH is off when it starts the run, I think that’s just the delay or something with the video function itself. We made several test runs to see when the Dragy registered 60mph to what the speedometer was reading. In my buddies C7z and my C6z it was around 58mph speedometer when the Dragy said 60mph a few times it was 59mph but the avg in both cars was mostly -2mph difference.

The speedometer in your Vette may be off a little too. Differential corrected GPS's (I'm assuming the Dragy's GPS is differentially corrected) are pretty accurate.

Could be man, and 1-2 mph even if it is off is pretty damn good imo.

I just tuck my Dragy in the cupholder or wedge it in the ashtray - it works fine in both locations.

It's what the owner's manual calls that flip-out cubby with the 12v power point ....!

I mounted mine on my dash. It says on the instructions clear line of sight so I put it up there. I only have it there when I'm looking to do something slightly stupid. The rest of the time it just sits in my home office.

I love mine. It's pretty accurate, too. It's easier to do something to the car and test it with the dragy then to go to the track or dyno.

Right? Luckily I live somewhere where I can "make some noise" without drawing too much attention from the authorities

I use a magnetic cell phone vent mount on the center vents and just stick the Dragy on that, works fine
