Hi, Need to ask a rather dumb question before I ruin something. Trying to install a
throttle enhancer in my 08,and I fear breaking the trim panel under the left side of
the dash, has the obd pin therea light etc. I don't feel any clips on the panel.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Finally got it off. Not easy for a 70 year old that has cervical and lumbar fusions. Very difficult for
me to twist my head and back. Hope it isn't too bad to reinstall.
You might be done with the install already, but if you need to get to the pedal connectors it is a lot easier to unbolt the whole assembly (2 bolts) and pull it out from under the dash.
Pat it is now installed, won't be able to drive it till maybe March due tio weather.
I did think about removing the pedal, the lower mount bolt is easy to get to but
as far as I good bend into the footwall area I couldn't even see the top bolt. lol
Due to age and too many operations I can go move under there so far.

Getting old sucks, but it does beat the alternative.
If you do ever need to get to it again, all you need is a long extension with a 10mm (IIRC) socket.
What brand enhancer did you buy ?
Just tried mine out, very happy with the result. Drove with it off and felt like it always
does after sitting for the winter. Pulled over and put it on the "middle setting"
Huge difference in throttle reaction. Im very pleased.
Ordered one of these for my Challenger R/T. Seems to be a popular item for Challengers, Chargers ans RAM trucks.
I don't feel any lag, but I've yet to hear anyone say they were disappointed with the Pedal Commander.
Since I only drive my Z06 about 1000 miles a year, not sure it would be worth it for that car.

I've heard of these and I have HPTuners so I could just go in and work on the torque management and do the same to my car. But every time I think about it I just remember the way it'll light the tires up, pretty much at will, and I say to myself, just quit tinker'n! Let it alone!
Btdt though, more is never enough.
One way to 'defeat' it somewhat, is to maintain a consistent throttle level and allow the engine to come through the rpm range, then make a mental note of how different that throttle level is held steady vs rolling in. I know in my car it's a profound change. There's no get'n around it, they neutered the car to keep grannies from killing themselves.
Got the PC installed on my Challenger and I like it a lot. Thinking about putting one on my C6 Z06.
Only went to city+2 and it made quite a difference, love the added responsiveness, more fun to drive.
I advanced my throttle through hp tuners. 1/4 pedal to 75% then full open just after that. That's best for me for highway and at the track for good burnout control and launch. More pressure to the clutches in performance mode as well. The a6 hits hard wide open with no issues for my second season with it. Wish it hit harder at part throttle though.
