Propped Shroud Mod Idea!?!?!?
I wondered if anyone has ever considered the idea of 3D printing a spacer for the propped shroud mod? From what I’ve been able to research, it seems that an opening directly in front of the filter can sometimes cause surging due to the turbulent air flow. So folks seem to go through the trouble of removing the shroud, trimming the edges, and then reinstalling. But picture something that looks like a ruler, only thicker with a hole in both ends to act as a solid spacer just for the center of the shroud. If the idea worked, you could get a little fancier with the design, perhaps radius the ends, have corvetteforum printed in script on the spacer, etc. You think it would work???
