Door Entry
Hello, I have a 2009 Z06 I just bought. The driver door is driving me crazy. Would not open. I took the switch apart and cleaned it. Worked briefly then started again. Went ahead and purchase a new switch. installed it, same thing. Worked briefly then stopped again. I have been going through passenger door to reach over and open from interior switch and it works. This morning I swapped the passenger side with the driver side and worked. tried it several times and it was ok. Drove it to my business got out, tried it again and it worked. Then just went back out same thing will not open again. I also replaced the batteries in both key fobs. Any ideas what is going on with it? I unhooked the battery briefly also. Any help is appreciated.

It is likely the latch assy in the B pillar, same thing has happened to many of us. It is an easy DIY if you are inclined, just need to be careful of all the plastic clips to access it. I replaced mine and have not had an issue since.
