GM codes 2009 corvette C6
#2
P2101 Control Module Throttle Actuator Position Performance ECM
P1516 Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) Module Throttle Actuator Position Performance ECM
My guess is the sensors (2 of them) in the throttle pedal are screwing up, or the cable connector to the gas pedal is corroded and needs to be cleaned to just solve the problem isntead.
If you can get a tech II on the car, it will show you the sensor readings through full throw on the pedal to see if one of the sensors is going out in part of the throw, or just bad connector problem with one of the two sensor not having a reading for the entire throw instead.
Hence the sensor are just re-stat boards with swipers, and as thier stat board bars wear, or the swiper ends on one of the sensors start to wear out, you get zero reading somewhere in the throw when the sensor should be showing a increase/decreasing reading isntead.
As for pulling the pedalsensor apart, it can be done if you want to try to fix a problem sensor, but its a major PITA and why you just replace the $80 pedal and its sensors isntead. But before you replace the gas pedal assembly, clean the connector to see if that fixes the problem, and if not, then get a tech II on the car to make sure that problem is at the sensor, and not a wire up line instead.
