Default Tires for daily driver

Just curious what everyone is using for the daily driver or weekend joy rides for tires. I will never track or race the car just a good cruise and date car with the occasional heavy foot moment lol

Continental Extreme Contact Sport.....great tire. Can also recommend Nitto Invo which were my previous tires. Switched to the Conti's just to try something different.

Gotcha. I am going to look them up if you could say what brand or tire was quiet and smooth. It’s a date car for me and the wife

I have no issues with Firestone Runflats.
On a second set.
Flats can ruin a day hence my favoring Runflats when a spare is not possible.

I went with BFG's last time. Seem to work well.
It's funny, if you visit forums for different cars, you get different opinions on what's the best brand.
I think you can comfortably pick from 5 or 6 major brands depending on what's available and price.

I don’t DD my Vette. However, my car came with new rubber Michelin AS3 all season tires. My C6 is modded headers, small cam, Callaway Honker Intake, Borla stingers with a 6 speed manual. My car hooks very well and very impressed with tire performance, handling and tire pattern and wear.

Note, I also have a C63 AMG for my DD and run DW Continental Summer tires and AS3 impressed me.

I just ordered my second set of Hankook Evo 2. The first set lasted 23,000 miles. They are not run flats but I carry a small compressor and a plug kit(also a can of Fix a Flat).

Will have to look at the tires. It currently has the Nitto 05 on it and are very sticky and hook but not good on weather

Michelin Pilot Sports. Best tire for the street. For less money, I like the Firestone Firehawks, Sumitomo, Continental.

Gokng to do a little comparison. Like I said I will never hit the drag stop. Just the occasional playing on the strip other than that more cruise and weekend drives
