I recently purchased a new to me 2008 Coupe LS3 w/ Auto. I attended the Corvette Expo in Pigeon Forge yesterday. I’ve noticed a very minor rough idle. So I put my scanner on it and the rom fluctuates between 585-627. No codes present.
Does anyone have any idea where to start? Maybe a coil pack? Are is it something as as big as the ECM?
The 08 manual I had, had a little roughness. General consensus is it’s a cam thing. Can you visually see the tach needle movement? I can’t say that I saw a fluctuating tach needle.

Yes I can. After trying to isolate the injector issue I guess I can take it to my local Chevrolet dealership to find out what it is.
So when you say cam issue, what is it? Worn out, bad timing chain?
Mare these cars known for that? And it’s only got 19,000 miles.
What about the harmonic balancer?
Normal. All vettes idle little chopy. If yours is a minor, that is even better. RPMS are all good too, i would not waste any money on it or loose sleep over. It sounds like with those low miles it needs some high rpm runs to clean up those plugs

Yeah this is my first. So little idiosyncrasies are not known to to me.
