Default 07 c6 engine build

I currently have an 07 c6 and looking for some info on doing a complete engine build. Considering going with a ls2 (402 ci) short block from goldenengineservice. I will be using minimal parts from my existing ls2, so no idea is to far fetched.

For me New Hampshire is on the other side of the world. Checked out their web site and they look like a reputable outfit.
$10 grand for LS2/3 long block motor build w/ quality parts seems reasonable.
You do realize you'll probably never recover your investment.
600 HP Corvettes are addicting!

It will mainly be a weekend driver and probably take it to the strip every once in a while. I would really like to be in the 700-800hp range.

I thought about it since my buddy just took his to a performance shop and put about $20k and it threw down some pretty impressive numbers. What would it all require to swap from a LS2 to a LS3
