Default Oxy Sensor Cross Threaded from Bowling Green ???

Im installing 1 7/8" ARH on my 2012 Grand Sport. One of the lower
OXY Sensor's was cross threaded when it was originally installed
as NEW.
I managed to back it out with the use of KROIL Fluid.

What sort of Die Tool or File can I use to clean out the threads,
chase the threads so as to screw it into X-Pipe Bung ????

Borrow or buy a metric thread "chaser" kit. But buying a new sensor is cheaper then a full kit.

soak the threads in penetrating fluid before you take it over. It'll come right out if you do.

My shop owner friend (A Street Automotive- Auburn,WA)

1) Removed the Oxy Sensors from Stock LS3 manifolds use
a Heavy Duty 6 point Crows Foot Looking Socket (Snap On or MAC??)

2) My CROSSTHREADED Downstream (Downpipe) Oxy Sensor I had already
removed ..and I've borrowed a 4 sided (square) thread file which Ive yet to try........

He suggested I remove the gasket on the oxy sensor so I can better file the threads
but not sure how to grasp the gasket and UNSCREW IT ???

I'll take pics and post when I have done so

I'd just buy a new sensor. Make sure you apply a good anti seize to the threads on any used O2 sensor you re use,

M18 x 1.5 is thread size.

but most can be fixed with a small file.

sometimes they need to be worked back n forth or use mapp gas.

ive done a few hundred installs, it happens

First I Did order/receive a new $50 DENSO Oxy Sensor

Now my "TUNER" convinced me that the Rear Oxy Sensors were not needed
with his ECM tune , so I plugged the Bung Holes and returned
the DENSO Oxy Sensor to EBAY...........

We shall See.............

Rear O2's are not needed if you have a tune that turns them off. However, you may need them physically installed if you need to pass a visual emission test.
