Does any one know if MSD fix the build quality on the ATOMIC FORCE intake manifolds. I want one because of the C.A.R.B status. Thanks

 

Hhhmmm I was looking into purchasing a MSD for my 08Z. Didn’t realize there was a build quality issue. Can you explain ? Thanks

 

I don't know about anyone else, but I've had mine for almost a year now and haven't had any problems with the manifold or the C.A.R.B. sticker. Well except I changed hoods and now the sticker is on my old hood.

 

I did a search and found a lot of the complaints about the MSD Atomic Intake manifold having a lot of manufacturing defects. Defect such as being warped, missing anchor nuts, badly machined threads, interference with water pumps and Vacuum line. But they latest reviews I found were about 2 to 3 yrs ago.
I was hoping MSD had fixed these issues since this is the only intake manifold I found that is C.A.R.B approved in California.

 

I think the Fast 102 is C.A.R.B certified for California?
