Default TPMS Sensor reads 0 [just replaced]

I read some older articles regarding TPMS sensors and Competition mode for traction control and have not been able to solve my problem yet.

Long story short... A year ago the Vette was running fine, all modes of traction control were functioning properly. My RR tire found a screw which punctured the sidewall. The tires were in need of replacement, so a new set of rubber was installed. I have a garage full of cars and a motorcycle, so the Vette gets driven about every other month or so... After roughly 3 months, I noticed competition mode was no longer an option/working, only TC On or TC Off. Next time I drove it, same thing. So after 5-6 months after tire replacement, I searched the forums for why TC Competition mode was not selectable and found that all of the TPMS sensors had to be functioning properly; my LF was reading 0 PSI.

Too much time had passed for me to take it back to the tire store, so I visited a Goodyear today. They verified that the LF TPMS was bad, and the other 3 were functioning properly. They installed a factory AC Delco sensor, programmed the car and gave me a call. It was end of the workday for them, so as I paid, they locked the doors behind me. I start up the car, and hit the TC, Competition mode does not work. The drive to my house is a good 12 mins from the Goodyear store. They whole trip, the TPMS read 0 PSI, while the other 3 were reading properly. I'm making the assumption that they changed out the sensor and programmed it, because they called me during the day asking for where my tire lock kit was.

I plan on calling them in the morning, however, assuming they installed a new, working sensor, what else can I try? The only reason I changed replaced the TPMS was to get competition mode back.

Yup!!!! they may have replaced the sensor with a generic one, which will not work properly most of the time. Even if it does initally program, it may not last, and will start reading zero. Return to the tire store and ask them if they replaced with an OEM AC Delco or Schrader sensor. If not request that they do.

2005-2009 OEM AC Delco sensor - 25758220
2005-2009 Schrader sensor 20076 (25758220)

2010-2013 - OEM Ac Delco sensor 20925924
2010-2013 Schrader sensor 20158 (20925924)

BTW, to reprogram, with the ignition in ACC mode, hit the lock/unlock buttons on the fob together until you hear the horn chirp.
Using the reprogram tool, go to the LF tire, hit the program key on the tool until you hear a horn chirp
with the reprogram tool, go to the RF and do the same, followed by the RR and finally the RL which will chirp twice to let you know it's reprogrammed properly.
