Default Walbro 450 install possible issue.

I’m in the process of doing my clutch, 3:90 gears, and a few other mods. While I had the drivetrain out I figured it would be a good time to drop a Walbro in. The drivetrain is currently out. I dropped the tank, swapped the pump, and reinstalled with any issues. Now I figured I should test the pump and the fuel level gauge. I put 5 gallons in and held the start button down to get the gauges to cycle and didn’t get any reading. I thought I’ll just drop the tank fix the sender. I wanted to pump out the 5 gallons so I jumped out the fuel pump relay, pressed the start button and nothing. Now I’m thinking I have another possible issue. I did reconnect the 10mm bolt and harness in the drivers wheel well. I grabbed my jump box and supplied 12v directly to the harness in the wheel well, grey positive, black negative, and the pump works great. Now I’m thinking no need to drop the tank, since the fuel level and pump don’t work it’s must be on the car side. Am I missing something with the harness being undone because the drivetrain is out. Also the coils are out. Am I testing this correctly? I like to figure this out before the drivetrain goes back in since it’s a fairly easy job at this point.
The car is an 06 Z just Incase that matters. Everything worked before I dropped the drivetrain.
Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

After some testing I figured out why it wasn’t working. There is a connector that is undone when dropping the trans/diff and the ground circuit runs threw it. Once I connected this connector everything worked fine. Figured I’d update my findings just Incase someone else try’s to test there fuel pump with the drivetrain out.. Here is a pic of the connect it’s the only one that stayed on the car.

Install a clamp on the pump hose so you don't have to do the job twice, use oil on the transfer hose locking metal clamp to get it to cooperate then spray it clean with brake cleaner at the end to remove the oil so it won't come loose.

With this, would 650 wheel be possible on e85? What about the passenger side?

Shouldn't be a problem on the pump side but you will still need injectors’ and a flex fuel sensor.
I didn’t touch the passenger side tank.
