Default emergency brake

2005 Z51 , 48,000 miles , emergency brake not really grabbing fully. read somewhere the bracket under car tweaks / bends after the brake being pulled over & over , anyone know of this ? guess the fix was to re-bend the bracket and stiffen it up by welding a stiffener on it ?

And when the E brake shoes are adjusted correctly (less than 10 clicks up), you can use the E handle for rear end E brake slides.

And no, there is not automatic adjuster on the E system to adjust the take up in the star adjuster, so you have to go in and adjust the E shoes/star gear manually.
