Hey guys I have a 2009 base 3LT with nav. radio and every time I get into it the time reads 1 hour slow. I have tried to change the daylight saving time in the clock settings as well as changing the time itself, but no matter what I do, it goes back after I shut the car off. Any ideas? Thanks!

My 2009 C6 Z06 3LZ had the exact same problem you describe, I finally upgraded it to a 2012 C6 nav unit I bought from a forum member. Not only is the time zone problem fixed, I was also able to change out the center console (see Ray Kawal's website) and upgrade to a unit that I could plug my phone into. As an added bonus, the sound quality on all input sources is noticeable better.

Good luck! The 2012 or later nav units are for sale here on the forum from time to time. I think my radio was just defective, and it sounds like yours is too.

Check to see what you have in the Nav radio as your home location. My guess, it not your home, but one hour away time zone instead.

Hence nav is going to set the time via RDS time and if the radio is not set as your real home location, it going to set the time to that other RDS time zone isntead.

I have checked the time zone and it is Eastern, which is where I live.
