Anyone know the part number for the braided quick connect line that attaches from the driver side rail to the bulkhead near the firewall? ALSO.... Always double check that you disconnected the battery before messing around in that area if you have a conductive coil covers....
are you talking about PN: 10324452.
this stainless steel braded line connects the fuel rail to the fuel line by the fire wall.
also your comment of "conductive coil covers" kind of seems like a serious electrical problem. i can't think of a reason any of those components should be connected to positive battery.

Yes.. That is the part. My coil cover's are not the plastic ones. The are the LPE covers that were custom painted for the car... I screwed up and forgot to disconnect the battery after moving the car to work on it and when moving the coil cover,I hit the alternator output connection and tapped the fuel line that apparently is grounded and all hell ensued. Fortunately the only damage was a 53.00 line and I'll have it Wednesday. The only serious electrical problem is my brain not remembering to disconnect the battery.... Lesson learned.
