SCL returns after bypass installed
My 05 6 Speed has been doing great after installing bypass module 18 months ago. Now the dreaded message has returned on DIC. Does it several times while driving.
Still no lock motor sound which is good. Thought it was related to 3 year old Optima red top battery I let go dead a few times over winter. So I purchased a new Durlast Gold battery from AZ and made sure it was fully charged and all cables/connections are clean and good. Voltmeter on dash does show a better charging rate now than before. I also did a “parasitic draw” test on Corvette and no drains on system.
Aternator tested good also.
Can I just get the new flash for BCM from GM for SCL?
If Yes, will I lose my custom tune?
