Default Throttle body to intake mounting nuts backing out

Anyone had this issue where the mounting nuts start backing out? I'm talking about the 4 nuts that are pressed into the manifold where the throttle body bolts to? They are brass looking in color. I was using a vararam spacer and it seems that a couple of the bottom nuts are backing out now. I'm going to ditch the spacer but want to make sure I can get sufficient torque on the throttle body bolts. Wondering if I can tap them back in with a hammer or if i'll need to do something more significant. Thanks for the suggestions!

Same thing happened to me. What did you do to solve?

I don't have the problem but have experience with metal inserts/nuts in plastic components (retired mechanical engineer)
If it was mine I would take a flat ended metal rod a little bigger than the the nut diameter, clamp it in some vice grips and heat it with a propane torch. Use it with some light pressure to push the nuts back in place. You will feel them start to move as the nut heats up. The plastic around the nuts melt from the heat and then re-solidify when the insert cools. Good luck

Thank you for that suggestion! One or two of those brass things got lost somewhere last night.
does anyone have a part number for those?

I was thinking of popping the other two out and inserting a bolt for the back side and securing it with a nut on the front side…

The bolts and nuts seem like a good solution if you have space for it.

Thanks! I was able to pop three of the brass things back in and use a bolt as I described on the other and it's held up fine for a week now. Thanks again!
