Help with programmiong keyb fob.
I recently attempted to program a replacement key fob for my c6 vert. I followed the procedure outlined here: turn key in trunk 5 times in 5 seconds, etc., but there was no message coming up on the DIC stating status for programming by placing fob in space next to glove box. I tried numerous attempts, but no luck. I would like some opinions or advice to get this fob programmed before I resort to taking the car to a stealership!! Thanks in advance for help!

For future information!! After making my post, I went out to the car to try another technique ( the accessory mode was to be on according to the info. I was using) BUT!! I tried the procedure as outlined with the accessory OFF and WALLAH - it worked!! So, no accessory on and the procedure should work as advertised. Many attempts, but success, finally. If the Marines taught me one thing it was not to quit, but I was just about whipped!! Plus 2000 degrees in the garage here in KY!! Thanks for the timely response!
