I am in need of some Extreme Summer Performance tires. I'm driving a 2009 Base M6. I want the widest and stickiest I can fit on this thing. Thanks in advance y'all.

Have you researched on Tire Rack? They show Michelin Pilot Super Sports, Continental Extreme Contact Sports & couple of others as "Max Performance Summer". I'm running the Conti's & like them very much. As for 'widest', you may be able to go one size up, but it's always a crap-shoot as to whether you'll run into tire rub.
Just did a test and tune with a STS Miata prepping for nationals. They tested RE71, Rival S 1.5, AD08R and A052. Ambient temp was mid 90’s and track temp was 120+.
In order of fastest to slowest for multiple drivers.
A052
Rival S 1.5
RE71R
AD08R
The A052’s ran consistent times 5 runs in a row, tread temp reached 160 with no dropoff in lap times. The tread didn’t get gummy or melted like the way Rivals/RE71R’s do at 140. They also commented that launching at 5K with Rivals would spin them, but they needed to launch at 6K with the A052’s, since they hooked that much better on launch.
They look really good and I want to try the 295/30-18 on my fronts when my 315 Rivals wear out.

Also, the Rival S 1.5 were 225 and the others (71R, A052, AD08R’s) were 205.
As you can see tires are/were sticker and not worn out. AD08R’s werent originally part of the test, a Civic driver offered them up for comparison.
Well, OP never said what size wheels he has. They come in the size I need. I will be using 295 front and 315 rears when they get back in stock.
I’m currently on Rival S 1.5 315 front and 335 rears.
So will the better tire (???) make up for dropping down 2 sizes in both front and rear?
I am getting a set of 18x11 and 18x12 and will be looking at new tires for track soon.

Compound is more important as long as it’s relatively close to same size.
Sizes greatly vary from mfg. My 295 A052 should be here today so I’ll get some actual measurements. See the post below, the 295 A052 quite a bit wider than the 295 Michelin PSC2.
I ran the Michelin SS for 4 years, Goodling lasting tire for NA application. Not for boosted applications. Nearly went with Nitto, but changed my mind.Toyos drag radials eliminated spin in 1st 2nd and 3rd. Very soft compound, but expensive.
