I have a 2010 C6 with a LS3 engine LT3 equipment. It has been throwing ABS/TCS/AHS codes for over a year. They were always easy to to clear by cycling the ignition off then back on or messing with the ground on the left front fender. Last week the codes would not clear so I took it to the local Chevy dealer. After a week they had cleared codes and had no idea what to do. I suggested driving the car and see what code the car threw. Didn't get it out of stall and it threw the ABS code again. After 2 more days that put on a new EBCM for $1,598.51 tax and all.
Drove the car 150 miles to a weekend event and it ran great. Started the car that evening to go to another event and it threw the ABS code again. The car acted crazy for the next 3 miles to the event. Cycled the ignition again and restarted the car and the code cleared and car ran fine. Went to move the car again later that evening at the event to get it out of a storm that was coming. Here's where the fun begins! Car would not start at all. Dash would light up and all gauges would sweep and return to normal. Green start button is green. Apply brake and push button and dash goes black. After a few seconds it comes back on and repeats the pre-start gauge sweep and green start light comes on. Try to start and the dash goes black. The car won't jump start or anything. The battery is strong and that isn't the problem. We used the starter relay to test the starter and it spins like a top, Car is back in the shop and has been for 5 days with no help.
Don't have a whole lot of C6 experience but try swapping the "Run Crank Relay" with say the horn relay...I believe it underneath the BCM at the passengers side toe board...you can try that !!
Went back to the Chevy dealer yesterday afternoon. They say the ECM is dead and have one ordered. How do you lose a EBCM and a ECM in a 2010 C6 in a week? Car was a certified used car 3 years ago with 28K on it, Has 35K now. Pristine care. CONFUSED CORVETTE OWNER
