Biggest question I have, is can you degree the cam while engine is in the car? I didn't want to have to drop it, if at all possible. I figured spending an extra hour or so making sure everything is correct is worth it rather just buttoning it up dot to dot. Any info or tips would be helpful, thank you
no experience with Ls motors, but back in the day when we built dohc motorcycle engines degreeing the cams made a big difference. We were even getting stock cams to perform by changing their positions
if if I were doing a cam on my car I would want it in recommended time in relation to the crank
in the car almost impossible, if you chose a good cam Co. you'll be golden dot to dot, new Melling oil pump is not a bad idea while your there, C5R chain too

I have adjustable aftermarket timing set already. And I was hoping there would be enough room but may just do dot to dot if I absolutely have to. Melling won't help me, I have a dry sump motor. Appreciate the responses so far
