Can someone tell me what lowered on stock bolts means? Maybe a brief description on how it’s done..
The suspension's lower control arms bear against the transverse leaf springs through rubber/metal bumpers attached to threaded rods which are screwed into the ends of the springs themselves.
These bumper/threaded rod assemblies are the ride height adjuster bolts. To adjust the ride height, screw the bolt toward the spring to lower the car, or away from the spring to raise it.
"Lowered on stock bolts" means that the height was lowered by adjusting the OEM bolts which have a limited range.
You can lower the car even more using aftermarket bolts which have a shorter bumper section. Unfortunately, aftermarket bolts can be noisy and typically wear out quickly.
The key is to buy the right lowering bolts; ensuring they are made of 100% CNC-machined stainless steel with Delrin bushings and articulating ball stud foot pads for perfect alignment and smooth suspension travel.
