Installing pushrod

Hi guys

I know you have to be at TDC to measure the pushrods correct lenght.
But do you need to be at TDC to install it ?

Maybe a stupid question but I will do my first cam install this week end and do not want to do any mistake.

No drop them in, and install your rockers. I use Harland sharp RR's so on each one I roll the engine around to bottom the PR out so I'm not cranking down against spring pressure
