My 08 left turn signal and horn work fine for a mile or two, then when I engage left turn signal the front left bulb and horn quit working and the left turn indicator flashes like a bulb is out, but all left bulbs are fine. Once many hours pass or car sets up overnight they both work fine again for a mile or 2. I’ve heard maybe a bad emergency flasher switch, or a bad wire or short in the bcm down on passenger footwell. Any input on here would be great thanks
Normally, when this type of stuff happens, it's associated with a ground or grounds. The C6 electrical system is ground activated, so if a ground is not making good contact, strange stuff happens.
I'm not saying it is a grounding issue, but you may want to check, remove clean, and put dielectric grease on those grounds to assure that is not the issue.
