Default Soler electronic throttle controller

Soler was nice enough to send me a C-6 throttle controller to test for them, they did not have any C-6 cars in their shop to test it on. I got it in the mail today and installed it in less than 5 minutes. Just need to pop off the three push in fasteners, unplug the throttle cannon plug and plug theirs in place. I did take a video, but it isn't the best, but I can post it on here if anyone is interested. Here are a few pics. I am not sure when they will start selling them on their website, but I am very happy with it. Makes rev matching so much easier. Thank you Mike, hope I am not messing up by posting this. I will take more videos, when I can get on the road a little better. No issues with installation, so far no lights, Mike told me to let him know the good and the bad. So far no bad to report.

I like it a lot. Not sure of the price, because they don't have them for sale yet, but the c-7 one sells for 75 bucks and I would definitely pay that for it more if needed. Here is one video, I am uploading another one right now.

Thanks, helomech for testing our C6 TC, glad it all worked as supposed and that you liked it.

Let me clarify that what is shown here is a prototype for C6's, it is not much different than the actual production units (below), except for a few cosmetic details. Certainly the same performance. We have been very successful with the C7 and want to extend that to the C6. We are about a month off from releasing them for sale. We just need to hear from other members testing them, and give them a few miles.

The final product would look like this.

Thanks for letting me test if for yall. Still doing great so far. I mounted mine on the manual door release. I can still see I and easily use it from my seat, and I didn't have to glue anything to the dash. I didn't even use the self adhesive that came on it already. I used the removeable wall hanging glue. Excuse the dirty floor, gravel parking lot at work.

Any hope of making these for the 2005 E40 Vettes?

So that is still a C6 that came w/ the E38 and you've upgraded it to an E40 ECM; correct?

If you still have the same pedal harness/connector, these units should work similarly, depending on the throttle map you tuned/loaded to your new E40.

Incorrect. The 2005's came with E40 ECM's. 2006 and newer C6's have the E38's.

Nobody is making these adjustable throttle controllers for the 2005 E40's. I was hopeful that you may be the first?

Hm, that is great information. Can't promise that we will as I'm sure there are good reasons why others don't. But we'll take a look at it. Thanks.

Hi, helomech. Haven't worked out the numbers yet but they wouldn't be much different than for those of the C7. I.e:

Exchanges or reworking your own would be in the low $200's.
New parts will depend on the cost of the stock part, for modified economy stock TB's low $300's for modified OEM's high $400's (these are really expensive stock parts).

Again, that is just ballpark.
