Looking for specific feedback Pros/Cons from those who have this cam in LS3 with A6. Seems to make good power with a nice lope at idle. Also open to suggestions if anyone has supporting details. I appreciate all who share good information on this forum. It is a great place to learn and enjoy the hobby. Happy Holidays!

The BTR Stage 2 cam is an excellent choice for a daily driver strip/strip LS3 with an A6, although it will work best with a 2800-3600 rpm stall converter. I installed one of those cams in my brother’s Gen 5 Camaro, as part of an L99 to LS3 conversion (DOD/VVT delete and bolted on my original LS3 heads with the lighter valves) and it was dead easy to tune and runs great. We have a PT3000 Yank converter and the car sounds and runs awesome.
I had a 224r cam in a LS1 Z28 I had before the corvette. Was a great street cam. Nice power boost and no downsides. Sort of the reason I bought the BTR 2. Too many people buy big cams that kill a lot of low end torque that you really want for a street car. You are ALWAYS ahead when you slightly under cam than slightly over cam.
My 2008 C6 LS3 has a BTR Stage IV 3-bolt cam PN33350135. It was in the car when I got it. I drive it everyday. Mine is a 6-speed. I would imagine an automatic might require a torque converter upgrade. I have LG cold air and Borla exhaust from headers to tips. I absolutely LOVE this setup! It is super-fun to drive and the valvetrain moves a bunch of air. Best of luck on your selection.
Thank you for those who left comments. Anyone using a similar cam (specs name ect… appreciated) with an A6 and have great results and the muscle car sound at idle? I am going to hopefully be getting going on a cam and a few other engine upgrades right after the first of the year. I have read so many good opinions on this forum. What a great forum to be a part of. Thanks for everyone sharing their knowledge of these cars!
A lot of the surging and bucking can be tuned out without having to add an aftermarket stall converter. An aftermarket stall converter is great if you do a lot of launching and want to keep your RPMs up. On normal street driving, it takes away from some low end power in traffic.
Unfortunately, low end tuning seems to be a forgotten art.
