While doing some work on my car I noticed the rear lowering bolt rubber bushing were not looking so well. I have also read bad stories about the lowering bolts that have various types of hard rubber or plastic that wear through. How many people have tried the VMS lowering bolts? I see the angle of the pad can pivot with spring movement. Any thoughts or stories of anyone who used them.
Those VMS bolts look like quality hardware pieces! I'm curious how noticeable the noise, vibration & harshness increases is? Anybody have experience with lowering bolts with delrin bushings??
Do yourself a favor, Spend $995.00 on a set of BC Racing coilovers. And throw away the compsite mono spring. You can lower the car upto 2" plus you get 30 settings from soft to firm. Easy to install 2-3 hours tops. Worth every penny
Guess I will just buy a set of factory lowering bolts. I am ok with the ride height but mine are noisy and the rubber is looking really bad and distorted.
Thanks for the heads up on the VMS bolts! I figured cuz they were stainless steel they had to be better than the stock bolts, but wondered about the Delrin being noisy.
