Suspension bushings
Does anyone have any knowledge or experience in using Delrin suspension bushings. Pros and cons. ??
Also the difference of using the Delalum setup from Global West, vs a conventional Delrin bushings setup?
Thanks

-95% of the feel of monoball bushings for 60% of the cost
-Usually a job you can do yourself with minimal tools and experience
Delrin Cons:
-Binding suspension is possible and alignment can be tricky since the control arms are not really able to be adjusted independently. Meaning wherever the front part of the control arm is the rear is gonna have to follow. If not then you'll have fairly serious binding. This is often a problem in the rear of the C6 since there's only one moveable adjustment in the rear
-won't last as long as (quality) monoball Bushings since you have metal constantly rotating on plastic
-many people will install zerk fittings to apply grease to make bushings last longer. Who wants to grease their bushings?
Anyway full disclosure I make and sell a pretty badass monoball kit. I considered delrin but with the short comings from above I decided if I wanted to offer The Best then it had to be monoballs. There's a reason why pro race teams use monoballs and not delrin bushings.
