Hello,
I have a 2011 C6. The map lights "will" turn off when vehicle is exited however they wont turn all the way off. They kind of glow and will not go completely out. I pulled fuse so it would not drain the battery.
Any ideas?
Having the same problem did change them to Led's so I guess i got my answer
wow. who knew. So you put LED's in and then had the problem? I pulled one out last night and it was indeed led. I am putting conventional back in tonight and we will see if issue is gone.

Yes honestly i never noticed it until about 2 weeks after changing the stock bulbs to led and I drive maybe once every 2 weeks and never had the battery die so for now I'll leave them and I bought the sylvania brand thinking it'll be good but I guess not

update. I pulled the led bulbs and put conventional back in. Works perfectly. Not as bright or as white but works as it should. I will now search for led’s that hopefully wont glow when car is off. I am thinking they need to have a built in resistor. Anyway. Thanks for all the replies.
I had LEDs in mine for at least 4 years without an issue. I was aware of the complaints on the forum so I made sure they didn't glow. My battery shot craps in Oct/Nov and after I replaced it they started "the glow". Really strange; I also put incandescents back in.
