It's always been working fine. Lately, It's stuck on the Wild side. While the remote seems to be working (it lights up when I push ON /OFF buttons), it's not triggering the actual Wild to Mild MODE.
First try replacing the battery in the remote---could be low
Next check your exhaust fuse in the fuse panel under the passenger floor board....The fuse could be blown...Do you have NPP mufflers from the factory or did you add the mufflers yourself?
Unplug the M2W switch from the fuse slot on the passenger side and plug in a good fuse. This removes the M2W from the system. If the exhaust closes it's the switch or fob. If the exhaust remains open you have other issues and we can trouble shoot from there. Doing the above should take less then 2 minutes and will isolate where your problem is.
Good advice so far. if you determine you need a battery for the remote, be sure to check the expiration dates on the package for the new one. I went to a local auto parts store to purchase and the stock they had there was 5 YEARS out of date. It is an oddbalI size that they don't sell a lot of. Had to go to a different store.
