So I haven't done a radiator since my 1990 Beretta 🤣. That being said, do I need to do anything further regarding the trans fluid? Do I need to back fill the radiator before connecting the top trans line? Or should I just let the trans pump refill it and add fluid to the trans later?
Do I need to do anything further regarding the trans fluid?
-No, maybe elevate line so it doesn't dribble on floor or if you have some nice caps for it plug them. The amount of fluid lost is trivial if you are careful, just check level when done...doubt the internal cooler holds much.....that being said be CAUTIOUS to not tip radiator ports DOWN because all of the coolant and trans fluid in it will dump all over.
