Garage Time
Got a day off from things so I enjoyed a good Garage Day. These are new, stock front rotors for a 2005 C6 Z51. They are Powerstop brand and are direct replacement rotors. I will be putting on the new Wilwood calipers and these guys on when the mid Atlantic weather and work decides to give me a few days of time and warmer days to spend some more Garage Time on this. I will get the rear rotors next. I used the VHT high temp paint for a primer and used a caliper paint for a gloss finish. I cleaned the rotors with some brake clean spray and wiped them down with some denatured alcohol prior to painting. I used my heat gun on high between coats of primer and top coat to accelerate the drying process. The heat gun helped the paint to lay down without running. Got all the bits to complete the install, lines, crush washers, BF, and beer to finish it off.
