Looking at the brake fluid in this new to me 09 it should be changed as it appears to be very dark and I doubt if its ever been changed. Has anyone used a Harbor Freight power bleeder. Just wondering if its any good? Tired of depending on someone for the pump the brake pedal method.
[QUOTE=drewz06;1600988900]I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but these never worked for me....
got the motive one, but out never moved fluid through the system when I cracked the bleeder line.... probably user error [/QUOTE
Bingo, they are great, just get different caps as needed, I take it to the track with me., 3 pints tops will flush the entire system, then go out and invoke ABS hard to cycle the fluid in that
Those are vacuum operated and don't work well. I've had my motive bleeder for 20 years (bought it when their warehouse was in Berkeley ) and it's the next best method after the old fashioned way with 2 people.
