I bought new ACDelco brake hoses for my 2006 Base Convertible. Part number calls for 18J4575 on right rear. The end of the hose that attaches to the metal brake line will not go into the bracket on the frame that hold them in place. Stock bracket has sort of a square shape to it to lock hose in place. Hose end is round and will not go into hole. The old round peg in a square hole. Any one have this problem. Several web sites show this as the correct part number. both rear hoses have this issue.
The round hole in your bracket might signify that at some point aftermarket stainless lines had been installed. Some stainless you have to grind the bracket to get it to fit.
On side note, does your new factory hose have the grooves cut at the block to caliper. Mine did not and I had a heck of a time sealing the connection.
The hole in the bracket is squared off not round. The hoses for the rear came with a round end that will not fit through the square shaped hole. I believe the bracket is factory. Funny thing is the front hoses have correct ends on them to fit the hole in the bracket perfectly.

This is a oem hose from rock auto and comes with the bracket. Your part number 18j4575 is listed as their "professional grade", made in china junk. That being said you might want to order an oem hose from them instead of having to make your bracket fit or trying to find the correct bracket for the hose you have. 2 cents worth. Good luck with project.
