2008 BCM Issues?
The battery is good. had it checked multiple times and tested each cell as well. The car didn't want to start. Gauges and such would come on, but when you pressed the start button, it would go black and do nothing. Checked the fuses, at the kick panel and under the hood. No issues. Thought the battery was bad, but the battery guy tested it thoroughly and no issues, just needed charged. So charged it longer. Boom, then the car started.
Drove it a few times. Then one afternoon, went to start it, and the ABS, Traction control lights, and gauges stopped working as well as the A/C. Plugged in the HP Tuners to read my codes and OBD was dead as well. Went to check the fuses at the kick panel, all were good. Wiggled the blue connectors, and I heard some clicking of relays and such. Boom, everything worked and the lights went away, and my OBD works now too.
Well, now randomly the cluster will light up with all the warnings lights and all gauges except speedo and rpm will stop working. Wiggle the blue connector and clears itself up. (keep in mind I never had these issues when I first bought it). I looked at the pins and the connector, couldn't see any corrosion or issues. Sprayed with contact cleaner and used some dielectric grease on the plug. Drove the car for awhile, no issues, then when i pull up to the house, does it again. OR when i first start the car it does it, or after i drive it for 5 min it will do it. Wiggle the blue plug a few times and it works.
I inspected the plug,no issues. Nothing it pushing up against it or bumping it. And if i hit bumps or such it doesn't cause an issue. It seems very random.
Could the BCM be the issue? But a coincidence that when I wiggle the plug it clears up? Anything I should try or check? I have a spare BCM from a 2009 Z06 that I can get reporgrammed.
Also, may be totally unrelated, but I get feedback from my right rear speaker, only when the volume is turned up some, but the radio on and volume down, no issues.
Kind of a long read, but hopefully you guys can help.

Check the battery, make sure the battery connections are tight, then check the "blue" connectors. For problems like this I usually clean the connections, put some dielectric grease on the connection seals, then zip tie (by going between the wires) the connections together. YMMV
As far as the Blue connectors go under the passenger floor board, remove them, put dielectric greaee on the pins, recoonect and make spacers so no one can push against the floorboard to disloge the connectors.
That should solve all your issues.
Good luck, and report your findings.

A lot of people will blame the battery, and that is certainly an easy place to start looking. I can 100% guarantee my battery was not the cause. I have been though several batteries in this 12 year old/100k miles car and it happens with new and old batteries. I have done the "Big 3" upgrade and I also run a high output Powermaster Alternator. (BOTH are great upgrades) I also have a new starter with good wiring to it as well.
You can see the old Gorilla Tape residue on it. LOL

Something I really had no desire to ever see in my life.....The BCM Board.
You have to drill the out to remove. I was able to reuse one and I used a rivnut on the other one. (did not use a rivnut tool just slipped a rivnut id by hand)
