Default LS7 Rebuild

If I want to rebuild my LS7 but want to keep everything basically stock as far as performance (I really don’t need more performance. I just want reliability), what aftermarket parts do you guys recommend that would be more reliable than factory? All the stuff I’m reading on the titanium coated parts is turning me off. And if the engine is a part I’d rather change everything out if that point.

LME is local to you and they're pretty damn good at what they do. I'd start there. Tx Speed is also semi local (north of Austin). Wouldn't hurt to check in with them too. Also G&G Performance Engines in Tomball is good. That's my local go to machine shop. Big Joe is a straight shooter.

I would suggest callies for a 4.0 stroke crankshaft and 6.125 length connecting rods. I used wiesco to make a set of custom pistons to get the compression ratio at 11.0 with a 70 cc cylinder head. I have used this combination many times for these builds.

Are you doing this to primarily address the LS7's known head/valve problem?

Once you start building, you will find you can upgrade the power/performance for minimal extra price...might as well get some more utilization out of the motor.
