Default Started homemade NPP Exhaust

After looking for an exhaust that would fit behind my factory diffuser with no luck, I decided to by my own Tig welder and teach myself how to tig weld. All self taught with the aid of youtube... After today the muffler cartridge should be hanging on its own. All of it will fit under my dual center out rear diffuser.

Let me know what you all think.

I started with 3x Gibson MWA BM0112 Mufflers. They are 3" DUAL IN/OUT & Reversible.

After lots of measuring and fitting, I assembled the muffler cartridge and welded it all together... Came in at only 16.5lbs. Thats 35lbs lighter than the factory NPP.

All stainless exhaust pipe with V-Bands will be used. Had to do some notching on the lower center to help add clearance for the diff cooler line. As it sits it only weights 16lbs... the factory bi-mode is over 50lbs. Its a tight fit... but should sound really good once its done.

This is my work shop... Back patio.... the wife is less than happy with it.

Here is the muffler cartridge in place... close to its new home. The bottom 3 will all be connected. the top outer tips will have the valves. When the valve closes, the exhaust will be forced down, into the center and up, then out to exit... I hope to have most of it completed this week...

When completed, it will all sit hidden behind the diffuser...

SPEED SAFE, NICK
