Default Appropriate rake after lowering

I'm trying to figure out the appropriate rake for the car after lowering. I found the service manual where it shows the C6 wanting 0.9" rake from front to back using the fenders. The control arm measuring way seems like a major pain so Im avoiding that. I'm currently at:

Front
Fender. 25.375"
Jack Point. 4.5"

Rear
Fender 27.25"
Jack Point 5.25"

Difference
Fender 1.9"
Jack Point .75"

Now I dont think the fender method is that truly accurate but I am showing about double the recommended rake via fender measurement. The car sits nice but after taking pics I think the rear could be dropped a little more but not a complete inch.

I lowered the car with the OEM bolts. Front is uncut and on the rear I cut off 1 bushing. Should I just cut off the last metal bushing on the rear so it's just the metal bolt and then the final layer of rubber or is this rake ok? I drive the car aggressively and want it to handle well lowered still. Corner balancing is not in the budget.

Thanks!!

Your car looks amazing man! If it were me I wouldn't change a thing. My car has the same amount of rake from front to back.

Angled shots are nice but full on side shots would give us a better idea of how it looks.

The first pic shows the gap pretty well if you zoom in on the front and rear wheel wells. I'm more so looking at measurement numbers to shoot for based off of the jack point locations since I feel that is pretty accurate.

Thanks brotha! I think it's sitting great too, the measurements just make me feel the rear should be dropped about .25" when measuring the rear at the jack point for a difference of .5" when measured at the 2 jack points that are closer together. I also don't want to induce understeer though

So about .5" lower in the rear than mine like figured. Are you on stock bolts?

Did you take off both bushings in the rear?

here is my car on stock bolts, without cutting any ribs. It took about a month before it selttled to it's final position. I installed Bilstein B8 shocks as well

Hmmmm maybe I'll give it more time then. I just installed the b8 shocks and cut the rear bushings the night before. Your rear sits just a tiny bit higher than the front but my rear is cut one bushing so that could be perfect.

Thanks for the pic

It *does* look like the rear is tangibly higher than the front. I don't know much about lowering on stock bolts, but you can try a vendor local or not to you for discussion, I'm sure they know about this sort of thing.

I went ahead and cut the last metal bushing off of the rear bolt only leaving the base with the full amount of rubber left after removing that metal bushing. Resulted in 4.5" and 5.0" clearance at the puck holes. Looks perfect now!
