Well it happened, romped on it 1st and 2nd gear, no wheel hop, just spun quite a bit. Smelled some gear oil and thought neh... Got on it a bit in 3rd after smell went away and sure enough smelled it again, pulled over and saw the leak. Got back home and found it,a small hairline crack on top. Luckily it's not full blown carnage and everything still works. Parked and awaiting sealant to baby it to LG motorsports(gonna call them after my email went unanswered), looking for used diff atm because a built diff from them is going to be high dollar being I have no core, plus the case is my problem, not the internals... Getting an ecs brace as well to hopefully help that situation. Price you pay when modding!
Appreciate it, but I'm an M6 and swapping my gears etc, and drilling vcs hole for speedo would probably set me back as much if not more than a used one, I would think.
Haha that's not even a joke! You never realize how much something ends up being until you actually need it from breaking etc... I wasn't even thinking about diffs and their weak points.
