Installed the MM catch can on my 2009 C6 LS3 and didn't want to cut the coil cover to make it fit so I made a spacer. It is a piece of 2" diameter exhaust pipe 2" long. I screwed on some nylon tie wrap hold downs so the catch can would be stable. The spacer moves it out far enough so the cover will fit.
If I were to do it all over again I would try to find a 1/8" wall aluminum tube and pop rivet it to the MM bracket. The hose clamps used were a 3" and a 4" connected together.
Maybe this will help someone who wants to keep the factory coil covers.
Without spacer the cover won't fit.

Cons? The catch can hose is closer to the tensioner pulley and belt. There is less room for drain valve access, I was going to try a hose over the drain screw to alleviate that.
