so i got a 2005 Z51 a year ago , one owner with 46,000 miles on it, was always is parked in a garage in sunny southern California..
question is the car is 15 years old now, but has 52,000 miles on it , so how long are hoses l belts good for ? is it miles on them or years old
they all look good
I have 160K miles on my '08 (bought new in '07) and still have the original hoses, plug wires, and AC belt. I swapped out the main drive belt and tensioner pulley with a friend's about 40K miles ago, but it still looked good, so I saved it. Stuff lasts a whole lot longer now than it did in the '50's or '60's.

Depends on fluids, etc. If you've got old antifreeze and it needs changed, might as well change the hoses, etc.
I have 2005, with 76,000 miles and belts and hoses are all original, and since I was bored last week took it to the dealership for oil change it didn't need, and asked for multi point inspections.
The place was empty, and there report was everything good, if they weren't they would of tried to sell me something.
thanks, nice to know , some dealers will always try to sell you something . i get free oil changes for life on wife's Malibu at the Chevy dealer , they always want to sell me something , yea my Vette's stuff looks great too,
my 2008 has 97k miles the upper hose just ruptured luckily I wasnt far from home
