Ceramic coating
I am thinking about taking my Monterey red C6 to a shop called 'Chicago Ceramic Garage' in Chicago, IL for ceramic coating and Xpel. I think the Xpel is for the nose of the car to minimize rock chips.
Whats the difference between Xpel and ceramic coat?
Do these coatings hold up well in extream cold?
My Vette sits in an unheated garage all winter and it gets well below zero here, even -30f.
They want nearly $1925 for the 2.5 yr. treatment.
What do you think about this treatment and coating? Do you recommend them?

Ceramic coating is a liquid clear coat treatment.
Xpel Ultimate will protect your paint from scratches and rock chips and is self healing. Ceramic coating does not do that. It makes it shiny and repels water. You can certainly add ceramic coating over Xpel Ultimate.

Ceramic coating is one of the best things in recent time. For that amount of money there is a substantial amount of paint correction to be done. I would try to pry the five year warranty out of them for same price.
