clutch on ls7
Purchased 2013 with 9,000 miles . appeared pampered. Just reached 12,000 . Clutch slippage under moderate to hard acceleration. Seems a bit premature for trouble. Anybody knows of similar issues , adjustments , simple troubleshooting . I live in Hickory NC . Any good , honest shops to recommend ?

They will also slip after a couple hard runs. If it does it every time then yes it's probably toast. I ran mid elevens with stock clutch and almost 50k miles but would have to let it cool after a couple hard passes...

Slipping right after the higher RPM shift, or in gear, clutch out for a few second, then getting on it?
If the later, then time for a new clutch.
If the former, time to do a ranger fluid flush on the clutch fluid system.
