Need some help, bad vibrations.
My car is a 07 z06 H/C/I car. I recently started to get bad vibrations in 3rd gear and up if the car is under or around 2k rpm if given more than 1/4 throttle. It does not do it in 1/2. I can rip the car through the gears and it does nothing but for some reason it only does it in 3rd and up at low rpms given more than about 1/4 throttle. I originally thought it was the clutch going out but it doesn’t seem to be slipping, rpms do not rise but at the same time it won’t gain any speed when doing it. The vibration is pretty bad and shakes everything. Figured I could see if I could get any info before I start ripping things apart. Clutch is a Mcleod RXT Twin if that makes a difference. Hmm interesting. Could be Clutch mechanism/FW, or perhaps TT, but it's weird it doesn't do this unless lower RPM. Sorry can't help diagnose further.
If I were you I would take to a trusted Mechanic or Tuner, get another opinion before you disassemble everything.
